MISSION STATEMENT

All Saints' Episcopal Church is a community of faith, living out the Gospel imperative through the Word, Sacrament and Community Outreach. We are seeking to know and love Jesus Christ more fully as we minister to the community of Bergenfield and the surrounding towns.

BAPTISM

Baptism is the sacramental way that the Church welcomes new members into the family of God and community of believers as followers of Jesus Christ. Following the example of Jesus ’ baptism with water, we baptize with water in the name of the Trinity (Father, and of the Son, and Holy Spirit). Any age is the perfect age for baptism. Infants are brought for baptism by their parent(s) or guardian(s) and adults may present themselves. Baptism is full and complete membership in the family of God and of the Church. It is an occasion of great joy for the family and the church. We would be pleased to speak with you if you are interested in the Sacrament of Baptism for yourself or if you are interested in having a child baptized. Please visit us on Sunday morning at one of our worship services or call our priest, The Reverend Kathryn L. King, through the church office at 201-384-0286.

WEDDINGS AND THE BLESSING OF UNIONS

The Sacrament of Holy Matrimony or Christian marriage is the service at which two people enter into a lifelong union through making promises, and taking vows and the exchanging of rings.  A service of the Blessing of a Union is also a service of vows, promises and sometimes the exchange of rings. If you are interested in having your marriage or relationship blessing at All Saints’ Church please visit our services on Sunday morning or call our priest, The Reverend Kathryn L. King, at the parish office 201-384-0286 to set up an appointment. If you are interested in renting the church building for a wedding please call the church office and speak with priest, for more information.
